Early Development Network

Service Coordinators#

The EARLY DEVELOPMENT NETWORK provides services coordination at no charge to families with children age 0 to 3 who qualify for special education.  In addition, free special education services are available from the local school district depending on the child's needs.  Services Coordination and special education are provided year round.

ESU 6 employs four Services Coordinators who help families:

  • find services to meet developmental, educational, financial, health care, child care, respite care and other needs
  • become coordinators of services for their own children in the future
  • link with needed services
  • work with multiple providers to make sure services are provided as needed
