INNOVATION THROUGH COLLABORATION

ESU 6 also offers ONE-ON-ONE SERVICES to students who have been referred to us. The services include:

Autism Spectrum Disorders -- provides assessments for students and professional development for parents and educators.
Birth to 3 Services Coordination -- provides Services Coordination to families with children age 0 to 3 who qualify for special education.
Deaf/Hard of Hearing Services -- the ESU 6 Deaf Educator works as part of the local school team with other special educators and classroom teachers.
Home-Based Services -- serves children with disabilities age 0 to 3 in their natural environments which is typically in their home.

Occupational Therapy -- provides related services to students age 0 to 21 who have a need for fine motor and sensory interventions
Psychological Services -- provides assessment and evaluation for students age 0 to 21 who have been referred for special education. Consultation and staff development to school district personnel and parents are also provided.
Speech Language Therapy -- provides assessment and instruction to students with communicative disorders from age 0 to 21.

ESU 6 will provide exemplary leadership, services, and products that promote improved adult and student learning.
