Shout-out to our incredible administrative assistant team that keeps our world spinning. We’d be lost without your hard work, organization, and the positive energy you bring every single day.
Thank you Sydney Bristol, Jerri Van Horn, Beth Lightwine, and Erica Pallas for everything you do behind the scenes to make ESU 6 successful!

Congratulations to our 2026 ESU 6 Middle School Quiz Bowl champions! We had 29 teams in the Middle School meet competing in three divisions based on district size. Crete, Wilber-Clatonia, and Our Redeemer Lutheran won their divisions with Norris, Fillmore Central, and Heartland taking second.

The ESU 4 and ESU 6 Technology Teams recently joined forces in a proactive and collaborative cybersecurity initiative, conducting comprehensive penetration testing on the public-facing systems of 27 school districts across the ESU 4 and ESU 6 regions in southeast Nebraska. Working hand-in-hand with district IT staff from both areas, the combined teams simulated realistic cyber threats to identify potential vulnerabilities, bolster network defenses, and enhance overall digital security for students, educators, and administrative systems. This partnership underscores our shared commitment to protecting educational environments and demonstrates the power of regional cooperation in defending against evolving online risks. A heartfelt thank you to all participating districts for their vital partnership in this essential work!
